Left wing weekly, originally twinned with a popular current affairs radio programme. The veteran editor in chief Ákos Mester was dismissed from Magyar Rádió, the national public radio station in the Spring of 1994, by the right wing management and has since transformed his weekly into a markedly left wing opinion outlet.
