Péter Magyar accused of being a CIA asset

A leading commentator at the pro-government nationwide daily suspects ’forces scheming against Hungary’ of lurking behind the new opposition star.

In Magyar Nemzet, Ottó Gajdics describes Péter Magyar as a narcissistic psychopath who mixes well-known anti-Orbán opposition mantras with the Fidesz stance on Ukraine in an attempt to attract the largest possible mass support. Gajdics suspects that Magyar’s roadshow through rural Hungary and his meetings in various settlements are financed from abroad. ‘A facelift is underway at a front company of the CIA, focusing on Hungary – and the latest model’s name is Péter Magyar’, he writes.
