Extraordinary vaccination week in progress
November 26th, 2021A left-wing commentator praises the government’s move to abolish the registration requirement and stage an extraordinary vaccination week.
On the first three days of the special vaccination week announced by the government, more than 388,000 jabs have been taken up. So far, more than 48,000 individuals accepted first vaccination without prior registration.
Mérce’s Árpád Kocsis contends that the success of the extraordinary vaccination week shows that it is possible to boost the inoculation rate without vaccine mandates. The alt-left commentator thinks that this week’s numbers suggest that Hungarians living in poverty had other problems to deal with, and therefore did not bother to register for the jab. Relieved of the administrative burden of applying, he the numbers show that they are willing to show up.
